这两天在路上看到2-3辆和我现在开的车一样(HONDA CIVIC),但后边标着Hybrid-Gasoline Electric的车子. 其实很早就听说过这个概念, 想不到现在已经实用化了, 而且头一次大街上见到.

接着就好奇的去网上找找相关的资料, 首先找到的就是HONDA车的官方网站, Overview 查到的价格是 $19,800 (Staring MSRP) 比较我这个Civic Sedan LX 价格 $15,510要贵5000多美元. 不知道这个车子到底有多省油?

接着又找到了这个专门的Hybrid Car网站 (www.hybridcars.com) 专门介绍Hybrid车的, 里边终于找到了一个Calculator, 可以帮你比较你现在的车与Hybrid车的油耗和每年油费的比较, 假设我一年跑17,000英里, 一年下来汽油费能便宜1/4(原来的是1000多美元汽油费, Hybrid是750多美元, 剩下了250美元, 假设开4年, 剩下的油费也抵不上车子价格的差价).不过倒是为环境做了一些贡献, ^_^ 当然政府是很支持Hybrid车的, 这里是一些奖励措施, 如果在2004-2005年之内买一辆Hybrid车的话, 可以有一次性的$2000 Tax Deductions. 2006年以后就降为$500了.

另一个奖励措施是在加州, 开Hybrid车一个人也可以走Car-Poor, 这个比较有吸引力, 上班的时候经常堵车, 有了这个就不怕了(胡思乱想: 如果我贴一个Hybrid标志在车后冒充, 是不是可以没事?)
